Minecraft server donation stores: the best webstores in 2026

A donation store is a webstore where a player pays and the server hands out the purchase by itself. We compare services using their own official pages: PayNow and Tebex for international servers, and CloudDonate, EasyDonate, Millida Trade and TradeMC for Russian-speaking ones. Plus plugin versus RCON delivery, secret keys, test purchases, refunds and Mojang's rules.

In short: a donation store is your server's shop site wired to a payment system: the player picks an item, enters their name and pays, and the service runs the delivery command on your server. Choose by two things — how your players pay and how the item reaches the server: a plugin fetches purchases with outgoing requests, while RCON means letting the service into your console. There's no single best service for everyone, so below are facts from the official pages in alphabetical order, without prices or fees, and pointers on what fits which case. Not everything may be sold: Mojang's rules are covered in monetization and the EULA.

What a donation store is and how it works

A donation store service handles three jobs: the shop site, taking payments and delivering purchases. The site usually lives on the service's address — EasyDonate, for example, gives a *.easydonate.ru subdomain — and some services let you use your own domain. The service takes the money under its own agreement and pays you the revenue minus its share.

  1. 1

    The player picks an item

Opens the store, sees items and prices, enters their in-game name — and, for example, an email for the receipt.

  2. 2

    Pays

By card, PayPal, a local method — the set depends on the service.

  3. 3

    The service queues the commands

The ones you set for the item: give a group through LuckPerms, items, currency.

  4. 4

    The server runs the command

Through the service's plugin or over RCON. A plugin can hold the command until the player is online.

Plugin or RCON: how a purchase reaches the server

Service pluginRCON

RCON sends the password and commands unencrypted, and whoever gets the password gets a console with full rights. That's why our RCON guide says not to expose its port at all. RCON delivery can't work without a reachable port, so if you pick such a service, allow only the service's address to the port — TradeMC's FAQ advises the same — use a long password, and switch to a plugin once one exists for your server software.

ufw: the RCON port open only to the donation service's address
# get the service's address from its docs or support
sudo ufw allow proto tcp from <service IP> to any port 25575
sudo ufw status numbered
# never add a plain ufw allow 25575 rule for everyone

Each service in brief

  • CloudDonate — a Minecraft-only platform: under its user agreement the store may list only Minecraft in-game items. Payouts go to Russian sole proprietors or self-employed people; the service says it confirms self-employed status automatically. The plugin can send purchase notifications to Telegram.
  • EasyDonate — a free platform, in its own words, with a fee under an agency agreement: a store on a subdomain, templates, custom CSS and a catalog of add-on plugins. Payments are taken in rubles. The EasyPayments plugin is open source under MIT; its page says the platform is available only to the Russian-speaking community for now.
  • Millida Trade — a store that doesn't need your own website; the plugin connects with a server token in its config, and you can check delivery with a free test purchase. It says it recognizes the names of Bedrock players joining through Geyser and Floodgate by itself.
  • PayNow — a merchant of record: it takes on tax, chargebacks and compliance. The plugin is open source under MIT, and you can import your store from Tebex.
  • Tebex — also a merchant of record, with Seller Protection against chargebacks that doesn't cover every payment. The plugin is open source under GPL-3.0. Tebex's docs remind you to be aware of Minecraft's EULA and monetization guidelines and to review Mojang's policies.
  • TradeMC — RCON delivery only: its setup guide puts the store key into rcon.password. Payments are set up as donations to the server owner under a donation agreement.

How to choose a donation store

  • How your players pay. PayPal and local-currency prices — PayNow and Tebex; rubles, Russian cards and SBP — the Russian-speaking services.
  • Delivery. Take a plugin if there's one for your server software: no port to open, and the purchase waits for the player. RCON only when there's no plugin.
  • Server software and network. Match the plugin's platform list against your software — Paper, Purpur, Folia — and your Velocity or BungeeCord proxy.
  • Who handles refunds. PayNow and Tebex deal with chargebacks themselves as merchants of record; the Russian-speaking services handle refunds under their own agreements — details below.
  • Legal status. CloudDonate pays out only to Russian sole proprietors and self-employed people. Read the other services' agreements before you sign up.
  • Purchase history. Mojang's rules require giving everyone who pays real money an online payment and purchase history. Tebex has a Payment History portal for that.

Security: the key, a test purchase, refunds

  1. 1

Treat the key like a password

The plugin links to the store with a secret key or token: /tebex secret on Tebex, /paynow link on PayNow, an access key and server ID on EasyPayments. PayNow warns that anyone holding the token can impersonate your server, so reset it if it may have leaked — for example, in a console screenshot posted in Discord.

  2. 2

    Test delivery before launch

Tebex has Test Mode — only while the store is private, or anyone can buy for free — and manual payments. PayNow has no sandbox: the test is a real order you can cover with a 100% coupon or a gift card. Millida Trade offers a free test purchase. Check that the item actually shows up in game.

  3. 3

Set commands for refunds and chargebacks

Tebex has dedicated chargeback and refund commands, PayNow has global On Refund and On Chargeback commands. PayNow says it plainly: without them, a customer who gets their money back keeps everything — remove the purchased rank on these events.

  4. 4

    Know your service's refund rules

Under EasyDonate's terms, a buyer may cancel before delivery and within 7 days after it; the decision follows Russian law, and the company refunds the money at the seller's written request. At TradeMC and CloudDonate a payment is a donation, and the recipient — the server owner — must return it in full themselves, fees included.

What you may sell: Mojang's rules

The service only takes the money — what's in the store is on you. The Minecraft Usage Guidelines allow donations, cosmetics (except capes) and perks that don't give a competitive advantage or ruin other players' experience. Content and prices must be visible before someone joins the server, and every buyer gets an online history of their payments. The full breakdown is in monetization and the EULA. The services have limits of their own too: EasyDonate's terms cover only virtual goods for games, and CloudDonate allows only Minecraft in-game items.

Supporters pay for a fair server

A player who buys a rank or a cosmetic isn't paying for a prefix — they're paying for a server they want to stay on. A cheater with KillAura or Fly devalues that purchase in a minute: Mojang forbids selling an advantage, and the cheater takes one for free. Paying players are the first to leave — they have the most to lose.

FAQ

What is a Minecraft donation store?

A shop site for your server wired to a payment system: the player picks an item, enters their name and pays, and the service runs the delivery command on your server — through its plugin or over RCON. Nobody has to hand out purchases manually.

Which donation store is the best?

There's no single best one — your players and server software decide. For PayPal and players from many countries, PayNow and Tebex; for Russian cards and SBP, CloudDonate, EasyDonate and Millida Trade. If you don't want to expose RCON, pick a service with a plugin for your server software: TradeMC works over RCON only.

Which is safer: a plugin or RCON?

A plugin: it fetches purchases with outgoing requests, so no inbound port has to be open. RCON lets the service into your server console over an unencrypted protocol, so open the port only to the service's address and use a long password.

What can I sell in a donation store?

Under the Minecraft Usage Guidelines: donations, cosmetics other than capes, and perks that don't give a competitive advantage or ruin other players' experience. Prices must be visible before joining, and every buyer gets an online payment history.
