InvMove

moves with the inventory open

Also called:InventoryMoveGuiMove

What it does

In normal Minecraft an open inventory or chest stops the player: movement keys don't work while the screen is up. InvMove lifts that rule — the player runs, jumps and turns the camera while shuffling items.

In PvP that means changing gear or pulling out potions or a totem of undying without stopping the retreat. In SkyWars it's looting an island chest and dashing off in the same motion; on survival and anarchy it's sorting loot on the run. It looks minor, but it removes an honest player's biggest risk — the second they stand still staring at the inventory.

How to spot it

  • Armour and held items change while the player is running or jumping
  • A chest lid is open while the player next to it walks around and turns their head
  • A chest gets looted without a single stop — the player just runs past

How it gets caught

The client opens its own inventory silently — the server only learns about it from clicks. So the check looks at what the player is doing around each click: with a screen open an honest client has no keyboard or mouse input and only slows down with momentum. If clicks come in while the player accelerates, turns or jumps, the window is open and someone is steering.

Momentum is easy to mistake for walking: knockback, ice, flowing water, falling and pistons all move a player with a screen open. That's why one click on the move isn't evidence, but a series of clicks under obvious control is.
