AutoFish

fishes by itself

What it does

AutoFish fishes for the player: it watches the bobber, reels in the moment a fish bites and casts again right away. The owner can walk away from the computer for the night while the rod keeps working.

The payoff is an endless flow of loot: fish, experience and, among the treasure, Mending books, name tags and saddles. On survival servers where the catch sells or jobs pay for it, that's straight money inflating the economy and the leaderboards. Draw the line carefully: many servers allow AFK fish farms built from vanilla mechanics — that's down to your rules. AutoFish is different: the client does the fishing, not a build.

How to spot it

  • A player fishes for hours in open water with no farm in sight and doesn't answer in chat
  • Every catch is reeled in after the same short delay from the bite, and not a single fish escapes
  • The line goes back out immediately after each catch, without a pause
  • The camera is frozen or moves in the same small loop

How it gets caught

Bites happen on the server, so it knows exactly when a fish bit and when the player reeled in. A human's reaction time drifts: they're sometimes late, get distracted and lose a fish. A bot reacts with the same short delay, never misses and recasts at once — hundreds of times in a row.

One quick reel is just good reflexes, so the verdict comes from the picture across many casts: no living person stays that even and that flawless for hours. None of the five rivals in the comparison has an AutoFish check.
