AntiAFK

fakes a player at the keyboard

What it does

AntiAFK fakes a player at the keyboard: every so often the character steps, jumps, turns its head, swings an arm or types in chat so the server doesn't kick it for being idle. Meanwhile the actual player is asleep or at work.

What it's for: playtime rewards and playtime leaderboards, a slot on a full server, chunks with farms kept loaded forever. On survival that means farms running around the clock and loading the server; on servers that reward time online, prizes without playing. If your rules forbid AFK, AntiAFK breaks them outright — and honest players who log off lose to someone who never does.

How to spot it

  • The same action at an even interval: a jump, a step, a head turn by the same angle
  • Activity comes just before the AFK kick would have fired
  • The player answers neither messages nor hits but keeps moving
  • A circle or square route that repeats for hours

How it gets caught

A real player is noisy: they move the mouse by different angles, walk unevenly, react to what happens around them. AntiAFK shows periodicity — the same actions at equal intervals, turns by the same angle, movement with no reaction to damage, messages or obstacles. That pattern only shows over a long stretch of time.

So there are no quick conclusions: a person may also jump in place while waiting for a friend, and the verdict comes from hours of observation, not a minute. None of the five rivals in the comparison has an AntiAFK check.
