What it does
Potions and ender pearls win fights when thrown at the right second, and AutoPotion and AutoPearl throw them for the player. AutoPotion throws splash potions of healing, strength or speed when health drops or an effect runs out; to make the potion break at the cheater's feet, the head turns down only in the throw packet while the screen stays on the opponent. AutoPearl likewise throws pearls along a calculated path, to escape or to chase.
It pays off in potion PvP, HCF and factions, duels and anarchy: the cheater heals without ever taking their eyes off the opponent and pearls out at the most convenient moment.
How to spot it
- The potion shatters at their feet, while in spectator mode their head stays on the opponent or dips down for just an instant
- Healing arrives exactly when it's needed, with no pause to turn around or switch slots
- Slot switch, throw, slot back — all in one instant
- Pearls land exactly where they need to with no time spent aiming
How it gets caught
The server takes the throw direction from the player's rotation and sees rotations in the neighbouring movement packets too. If the head points down for exactly the tick of the throw and is back on the opponent right after, that looks programmed: a human glance down and back stretches over several ticks. Slot switch, throw and switch back within one tick isn't a vanilla sequence either — see packet order.
A quick look down to pot is an honest technique, and lag can squeeze it into one tick, so one odd throw proves nothing. Evidence builds as throws keep disagreeing with the camera.
