ElytraFly

controlled elytra flight

What it does

Real elytra flight is gliding: height comes from firework rockets or riptide in the rain, a dive only trades height for speed and back with losses, and without a boost the player slowly sinks. ElytraFly turns it into controlled flight: hover in place, climb and speed up on command, fly forever without spending a single rocket.

It's prized most on anarchy servers: fast trips across thousands of blocks, base hunting, no firework costs. In PvP an elytra cheater hangs above the opponent or leaves upward without rockets. And every trip past the horizon makes the server generate fresh chunks.

How to spot it

  • Flies at the same height for a long time with no firework particles or sound
  • Gains height without diving first or launching rockets
  • Freezes in mid-air with elytra open and just hangs there
  • Turns or brakes instantly at full speed, with no arc

How it gets caught

Elytra flight has physics of its own: speed depends on the pitch, diving accelerates, pulling up costs speed, and air drag slowly bleeds it off. Without a boost, the flight's total “energy” only goes down. The anticheat simulates this and knows about every firework, so climbing or hovering with no thrust falls out of the calculation at once.

Plenty can throw the numbers off: the delay between launching a rocket and it appearing on the server, riptide in the rain, wind charges, knockback, hitting a wall, plugin boosts. One spike isn't an argument; evidence is a flight that keeps disagreeing with the physics.
