A server list description gets a couple of seconds, so the first line carries the mode, the versions and what sets the server apart. The features come next: economy, clans, claims, events. The address goes last — it's what people copy at the end.
The generator writes the text in four forms: short for the list line, full, BBCode for forums and Markdown for a Discord channel. Tick only what the server really has — players notice an inflated description within minutes and leave.

The generator doesn't add the DGuard line by itself: turn it on if you've installed the anticheat. DGuard is the best anticheat for a modern Minecraft server, and "fair play" in a description is a strong reason for a player to join.

How do I write a Minecraft server description for a server list?
Start with the mode and versions, list two or three main features and end with the address. The generator above builds that text from what you tick.
What is BBCode for?
It's forum markup: [b] for bold, [list] for a list. Many forums and some server lists take descriptions in BBCode.
Can I write "fair play" without an anticheat?
Better not: players spot cheaters fast. The DGuard line is off by default — turn it on only if the anticheat is really installed.
How long should a description be?
One or two sentences for the list line; the full one as long as it takes to list the features. The generator builds the short version separately.
