Anticheat comparison
Vulcan vs Intave: which anticheat is better
We checked 47 kinds of cheats against the source code and docs of Vulcan and Intave. Only a full check counts — "partly" and "indirectly" don't, and the rules are the same for everyone. DGuard is the third column.
Intave checks more: 27 of 47 kinds of cheats against 25 for Vulcan. But each covers something the other doesn't — see below.
Vulcan has it, Intave doesn't
- Multi-aura — several targets in one tickIntave, partly: no dedicated check — only a general attack cap, never punished
- Criticals — crits without a real jumpIntave, partly: no dedicated check — only the generic on-ground check
- KeepSprint — sprint isn't reset after a hitIntave, partly: no working dedicated check — only the generic movement simulation
- Tower — pillars up faster than a humanIntave, partly: not named — only the generic placement analysis
- FastPlace — places blocks too oftenIntave, partly: only with timing checks on — off by default
- Nuker — breaks everything around at onceIntave, partly: not named — only the break time of a single block
Intave has it, Vulcan doesn't
- Backtrack / FakeLag — hits past positions, holds packets back
- AutoTotem — a totem in hand in 0 ticksVulcan, partly: a check was added in 2021; today's config doesn't have it
- NoFall — takes no fall damageVulcan, partly: no dedicated check — only a spoofed on-ground flag
- Phase — walks through blocksVulcan, partly: no dedicated check, by their own page
- NoSlow — no slowdown when eating or blockingVulcan, partly: only old sword-blocking, webs and honey — NoSlow while eating isn't detected
- Blink — holds packets, then teleports
- GhostHand — uses and hits through wallsVulcan, partly: beds only
- InvMove — moves with the inventory openVulcan, partly: undetected by their own page — only clicks while moving
Missed by both

Weak spots, from their own sources
$19.99 per server. By its own page it targets “blatant cheaters who use common and publicly available hacked clients”; Phase, Blink, InventoryWalk and vanilla NoSlow are on its not-detected list.
Catches aura and scaffold only on a paid plan — €0.79 per 1,000 player-hours. Its machine learning runs in the cloud, also for a fee.
