Anticheat comparison
GrimAC vs Intave: which anticheat is better
We checked 47 kinds of cheats against the source code and docs of GrimAC and Intave. Only a full check counts — "partly" and "indirectly" don't, and the rules are the same for everyone. DGuard is the third column.
Intave checks more: 27 of 47 kinds of cheats against 22 for GrimAC. But each covers something the other doesn't — see below.
GrimAC has it, Intave doesn't
- KeepSprint — sprint isn't reset after a hitIntave, partly: no working dedicated check — only the generic movement simulation
- NoRotate — ignores server rotation
Intave has it, GrimAC doesn't
- KillAura — hits targets by itselfGrimAC, partly: no dedicated check — only indirectly, via Reach and packet order
- AimAssist / Aimbot — aims for the playerGrimAC, partly: only two rotation artifacts: a 360° snap and a repeated look
- AutoClicker — clicks for the player
- Backtrack / FakeLag — hits past positions, holds packets backGrimAC, partly: no dedicated check — partly, via the experimental BadPacketsR
- AutoTotem — a totem in hand in 0 ticksGrimAC, partly: no dedicated check — only inventory clicks while moving
- Blink — holds packets, then teleportsGrimAC, partly: no dedicated check — partly, via the experimental BadPacketsR
- GhostHand — uses and hits through walls
Missed by both
18 of 47 kinds of cheats are checked by neither GrimAC nor Intave. DGuard has a check for every one.
Weak spots, from their own sources
Free and strong at movement. But it has no KillAura, Aim or AutoClicker checks — they're placeholders in its config, and heuristics are promised for a paid version that isn't on sale.
Catches aura and scaffold only on a paid plan — €0.79 per 1,000 player-hours. Its machine learning runs in the cloud, also for a fee.
